Non-Construction
![]() Lunch Providers: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge is looking for individuals and groups to consider providing lunch for our construction volunteers. If you or your group is interested in providing lunch, please contact Paige Fore, Volunteer Coordinator. ReStore Volunteers: The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge ReStore is a bargain warehouse of donated building supplies. Volunteers are needed with pricing, inventory, organization, receiving, customer assistance, and countless other tasks. The ReStore is open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:30am to 5pm. Family Services Volunteers: Family Services seeks volunteer support with the homeowner application process. Volunteers will conduct financial reviews, assess housing need by visiting the homes of applicants, and assist partner families on the construction site. We also need volunteers to help in the office with entering homeowner sweat equity hours into the database, assisting office staff with filing, and planning partner family events. Day and evening hours are available. Fundraising Committee: The fundraising committee is looking for people to aid in grant writing, direct mail, and event planning. If you are interested in working with us to increase Habitat for Humanity's funding capacity, please do not hesitate to contact Erin.
Public Relations Committee: We are seeking volunteers interested in writing and designing the bi-monthly newsletter, issuing press releasing, making contact with local media; in short, we are looking for people who want to make Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge more visible in our community. |
